Station 40 is sad to announce that one of our own has passed on. Retired Firefighter/EMT Bill Gregory, a member of RTVFD for over 25 years, passed away at home on December 13, 2016, at the age of 91. During his time on the department, Mr. Gregory was a firefighter and EMT, served as EMS Captain, President and Vice-President of the department, and earned the award of being Indiana’s EMT of the year at the age of 80. He also taught EMT classes and was a fire investigator. Ambulance 46 was dedicated to him when it was put in service, with a plaque in the ambulance in his honor. Visitation and services will be held on Friday, December 16, at Loose Funeral Homes in Anderson. Full obituary is at here.
